As a new writer on this platform, this article shocked me to my core. I came to write on Medium to hone my craft and add value to my audience's lives while doing so, not to be tied down by the platform itself. However, this doesn't surprise. Just like every other social media platform on Earth, from Youtube to Facebook, Medium isn't any different when it comes to silencing the creators that should and need to be heard.
