Intriguing article, Yancey. I never thought about time as a spiral, but this piece definitely made me ponder the thought. History has been known to repeat itself: whether it be in the forms of war, disease, or good fortune and times of peace, it is always changing, most often back into a former version of itself. Hopefully, the less positive sides of human history does not repeat itself, like racism and other dehumanizing acts. Great piece, once again.
