Intriguing story, Edward. It is awful how people still marry only to reap the benefits of material wealth, instead of having a genuine connection and loving relationship with the person they agree to spend the rest of their lives with. Marriage in many places is taking a backseat to other endeavors in life, such as professional life. People are married to their careers nowadays. To see a story like this is gut-wrenching.
